IABC acknowledges real estate leader for GREEN AT WORK™ communications program
TORONTO, ONTARIO – June 8, 2010 – The Cadillac Fairview Corporation Limited has been named a winner of the prestigious 2010 Gold Quill Award for excellence in business communication. This global award was presented by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) last night at the World Conference held at the downtown Toronto Sheraton Hotel.
This is the company’s first ever Gold Quill Award and was earned in the Social Responsibility category for developing its dynamic GREEN AT WORK™ communications strategy that has engaged employees and tenants to build sustainability together. “It’s truly an honour to be recognized by our industry in this way and is a reflection of a lot of hard work by our corporate communications team and many talented people across the organization that were instrumental to its successful implementation”, says Heath Applebaum, Manager of Communications and Media Relations. “To be chosen from among our global peers means a lot, especially because we know our GREEN AT WORK™ program is making a difference for not only our company, but advancing the real estate industry and supporting the environment.”
