TORONTO, ON (January 9, 2018) – Following an extensive partner search, test and trials, and two successful pilot programs aimed at better understanding Canadian customers and trends, Cadillac Fairview (CF) is continuing to innovate the shopper experience. As part of this journey, CF is pleased to announce it has partnered with Toronto-based Paymi to power the continued development of innovative experiences at Cadillac Fairview.

“With the retail landscape undergoing dramatic shifts, we were looking for a partner to work with on innovative ways to develop meaningful personalized relationships with our customers and ultimately drive preference to CF shopping centres,” said Craig Flannagan, Vice President, Consumer Marketing, Cadillac Fairview. “Paymi shares our vision of creating truly unique, industry-first experiences, while simultaneously supporting our retail clients. Furthermore they are Canadian and have a solid understanding of the Canadian retail dynamic. ”

In fall 2017, CF launched two experience pilot programs at CF Sherway Gardens in Toronto and CF Rideau Centre in Ottawa entitled Feel the Love. Pilot program participants were able to unlock access to exclusive offers and in-property experiences like member-only lounges, VIP kids clubs, front of the line experiences, complimentary valet parking, and exclusive retail offers.

“CF is invested in creating a connected and frictionless experience for our shoppers,” said Christine Poirier, Director, Loyalty Marketing, Cadillac Fairview. “To meet those needs and evolve the consumer journey with personalization, we conducted both qualitative and quantitative research with Canadian shoppers across the country and spent nearly a year evaluating the North American landscape for the right partner. We are thrilled with the results of the pilot programs we achieved with our new partner Paymi and look forward to continuing to learn how to improve and extend our current experiences.”

“By entering into an exclusive mall partnership with Cadillac Fairview, we will be working with Canada’s preeminent real estate owners with leading shopping centres across Canada,” commented John Flett, CEO, Paymi. “As the leading card-linked offer program, we could not be more excited with this opportunity to add value to Cadillac Fairview's shoppers and retailers.”
