CADILLAC FAIRVIEW NAMED ONE OF CANADA’S GREENEST EMPLOYERS FOR 2017
Apr 21, 2017

April 21, 2017 - Cadillac Fairview has once again been named one of Canada’s Greenest Employers for 2017. This special designation recognizes employers that lead the nation in creating a culture of environmental awareness in their organizations, have developed exceptional earth-friendly initiatives and are attracting people to their organizations because of their environmental leadership.

“As one of North America's largest owners, operators and developers of commercial real estate, Cadillac Fairview is uniquely positioned to have a significant impact on how we manage our properties today and build for tomorrow” said John Sullivan, President and CEO, Cadillac Fairview. “Sustainability is embedded in our corporate culture, and implemented everyday by people who truly care about making a difference. We are proud to receive this recognition and are further motivated to continue strengthening our commitment to sustainability.

Each employer is evaluated by the editors of Canada's Top 100 Employers in terms of:  the unique environmental initiatives and programs they have developed; the extent to which they have been successful in reducing the organization's own environmental footprint; the degree to which their employees are involved in these programs; and the extent to which these initiatives have become linked to the employer's public identity.
