Wayne L. Barwise
Wayne Barwise has 28 years experience in real estate development and asset management both as a successful entrepreneur for 14 years and subsequently as a corporate executive. Wayne has completed several billion dollars of commercial properties in Canada and the United States. He is responsible for the leadership of CF's development group including the strategic planning, financial returns and execution of its office, retail and mixed-use development platform. Wayne is a graduate of Harvard University (M.Arch.U.D), and the University of Toronto (B.Arch). Wayne also serves on a number of charitable boards and is Chairman, Branksome Hall Board of Governors.
Sandra J. Hardy
A key member of the executive team since 2008, Sandra oversees the provision of legal services for the company including corporate governance and regulatory compliance, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, and property operations matters. She is responsible for corporate communications and media relations and oversees the corporate charitable donations program.
Sandra joined Cadillac Fairview in 1996 as Vice President, Legal and was appointed Senior Vice President, Legal in 2002. A member of the Law Society of Alberta and the Law Society of Upper Canada, Sandra has 29 years of experience in commercial real estate with Cadillac Fairview, Trizec Corporation, Trilea Shopping Centres Limited and Bramalea Limited.
Sandra is a graduate of the Rotman School of Management/ICD Directors Education Program and LL.B., University of Victoria and B.A., Carleton University.
Cathal J. O’Connor
Cathal has served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of The Cadillac Fairview Corporation Limited since April 2008. Cathal is responsible for directing the company’s overall financial management and oversees planning, reporting, treasury, corporate taxation, property tax, valuation and IT functions for the organization. Prior to joining Cadillac Fairview he was a senior partner at a global accounting firm. Cathal holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the National University of Ireland, Galway, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario and an Institute-certified Director, ICD.D. He is also a Board Member and Chair of the Audit Committee of Baybridge Seniors Housing and a member of the Audit Committee for the TO2015 Pan American and Parapan American Games.
Norm Sabapathy is responsible for the leadership of Cadillac Fairview’s Human Resources team and enabling outstanding people performance company-wide.
Norm is an accomplished executive with more than 20 years of management experience with global industry leaders in industrial, transportation, manufacturing, services, food and consumer packaged goods sectors.
He holds Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Industrial Relations degrees, and has been granted the designations Certified Human Resources Professional and Senior Human Resources Professional.
Salvatore (Sal) Iacono
Sal Iacono brings more than 27 years of experience to Cadillac Fairview with senior roles in real estate development and asset management. He is a successful entrepreneur with extensive expertise in developing commercial, retail and multi-residential projects comprising of several million square feet in Canada. In his current role, he is responsible for providing operational leadership and innovation to manage Cadillac Fairview’s 38 million square-foot retail and office portfolio. Sal holds a Master of Business Administration degree from McGill University and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Concordia University.
Duncan Osborne is responsible for the leadership of Cadillac Fairview’s Investments team, and strategic property investments and divestitures, with a focus on the Canadian, U.S. and Latin American markets. He brings with him more than 18 years of experience in investment, development and commercial transactions to the executive team. Prior to joining Cadillac Fairview in 2011, he was a tax partner at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP in Toronto, where he advised on a broad range of domestic and international M&A, private equity, real estate and tax transactions. Duncan holds a law degree (LL.B.) from the University of Western Ontario, a Master of Finance (M.Fin) from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from Trent University. He also holds a Certificate in Real Estate Development from New York University.
