Cadillac Fairview Invests in Future Community Leaders
Jun 08, 2016

TORONTO, ON, June 8, 2016 –Today, Cadillac Fairview (CF) announced their youth-focused philanthropy platform aimed to inspire and empower today’s youth. This platform is part of CF’s overall corporate social responsibility strategy aimed at supporting environmental, economic and social initiatives in the community and is an important part of CF’s core values. Through locally focused charitable efforts, CF is committed to making an even greater impact in the communities in which it operates.

“At Cadillac Fairview, we recognize the opportunity and responsibility to inspire those around us, especially today’s youth,” said Janine Ramparas, Director, Corporate Communications, Cadillac Fairview. “One of the greatest assets a community has is its young people, and this is where we feel CF can make meaningful impact. Through our partnerships, we ‘re investing in today’s youth as Canada’s next generation of leaders, and it is our goal to inspire and empower this group to be proactive contributors to society.”

This year, CF is donating $500,000 to 14 regional charities located in cities where it operates including Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Calgary, Vancouver, Montreal and Moncton.  These charitable partners are dedicated to building and supporting youth in different ways, ranging from encouraging creativity and free expression in performing arts, to providing emergency housing solutions for homeless youth and employment services and skill development crucial for the next wave of leaders. To capture the significant impact of this gift, CF has produced a video featuring its charitable partners below that highlights how the donations are being put to work.
