The Station has achieved the BOMA 360 designation. This recognition highlights the building’s strong performance in key areas like operations, sustainability, and client experience.
The BOMA 360 Performance Program evaluates buildings in six main areas: operations and management, life safety, energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, tenant relations, and security. In essence, BOMA 360 is crucial for establishing the operational excellence that underpins a high-performing building, while BOMA BEST certifies a building's environmental achievements. BOMA 360 provides the framework upon which BOMA BEST builds. To earn this designation, Cadillac Fairview (CF) had to meet high standards in all these areas, showing its commitment to keeping the building running smoothly and efficiently.
Energy-saving strategies like controls upgrades, a new chiller, and air handling systems that use variable frequency drives and duct pressure sensors to adjust fan speed and airflow have significantly reduced energy consumption. In addition, predictive operations have been introduced to help identify and address any issues with building automation systems, which uses trending data to identify unusual patterns and allow for regular tuning adjustments to maintain comfort for clients.
The BOMA 360 designation at The Station is a great recognition of CF’s ongoing commitment to operational excellence and sustainability. Applying all of the above with CF's internal sustainability program, Green at Work has all led to this achievement.
